Freshwater to Yarmouth and back.

It was a lovely sunny weekend so we decided that it was worth travelling across the island for a sunny walk.

First let me introduce our model for this outing.  You may think this is Harry our normal out and about baboon, but you would be wrong, this is Bukayo who recently arrived at Baboon HQ with his bigger brother Kanu, who somewhat resembles Archie.  Kanu and Bukayo came to Baboon HQ through TourGuideTed who rehomed them to us.  They are settling in well.

So this is Bukayo.

You may well wonder how we can tell the difference between him and Harry.

Well it is not as difficult as you would think.

Harry is pink where Bukayo is yellow.  Need we say more!!

So Bukayo started walking from The End of the Line cafe at Freshwater.

He is a baboon so he stopped to do some tree climbing in the wooded bits.

When Yarmouth came in site he stopped to see where he was going, well actually to pose on a way marker, but there is Yarmouth in the background.

He also looked back at where he had been.

There were a lot of these little blue flowers and Bukayo stopped to play in them for a while.

Of course baboon walks end at cafes now they are open again and we went back to The End of the Line.  Although it was lunchtime it is very hard to resist their scones so we had a cheese one each for lunch and a fruit on each for pudding, seems fair!
