Firstly, in March, we had a great day out with a dear friend of all of us. We visited Queen Victoria's house, on our island with ...
yes, you got it @HenryandFriends, who was visiting our island and staying at Queen Victoria's house. Look at the lovely hamper he was given to welcome him. Harry went along for the trip.
In the garden Henry and Harry saw these topiary pigs, they couldn't resist having a ride on them. Look at their curly tails!!
Harry was fascinated by this boar. He was very handsome and he was guarding Queen Victoria's house.
Harry was no match for him, but he loved the carving.
When it came to mischief Harry was more of a match for this chap!! Queen Victoria's house is very beautiful, but Harry was very certain what his favourite parts were, the carvings and the pigs!!
At Easter Freddy went for a walk to find spring flowers. He went for a walk from the Lakeside Hotel in Wooton, crossing the steam railways and on through woods.
He started with primroses.
Then he found these white flowers.
What he was really looking for was bluebells and here they are.
But look!! Freddy also found a pinkbell!!
At the May bank holiday Jimmy, from @ThePalmOil2 went for a walk.
He started in Yarmouth in the west of the island.
He walked through to Victoria Country Park.
The first thing he did was to check out the age of this tree, by counting the rings. Actually he couldn't work it out, its complicated.
He got a lift from this butterfly.
The butterfly took him to meet this man who shared his tea with him and introduced him to a friend of his.
Meet Mr Newt, he lives in the country park with the carved butterflies, the carved man and a number of other carved creatures. Its very nice in the country park and the carvings are excellent.
